Summary: "A very nice cigar punch"
A very attractive dark wood and brass cigar punch. I am tempted to give less than five stars because one brass part separated from the wood, but I live in a very dry area and I imagine that the wood may have shrunk slightly during transport. Anyway it was easily fixed with a drop or two of superglue gel.
It arrived with a V-shaped metal attachment and a short silver-colored chain, even though in the picture there were no such extras. I suppose a brass or gold-tone chain would have looked better considering the brass parts of the punch itself, but it is easy enough to remove (as I have done) should you not find it attractive.
The cutting edge is quite sharp, and it cuts a large enough hole in the cap of a cigar, and adequately deep, to give a very satisfactory draw from a well-constructed cigar. The wooden body of the punch, although small, does not get lost in my hand during use. This punch is already getting much use, and it looks great attached to a gold watch chain. I would value it at a few dollars less than the price I paid, but all in all I am quite pleased with my purchase.
